He suggested a circular lawn to mirror the Rotunda building, and almost everyone who enters it comments on the peaceful, magical feeling of the space. Robin helped me with my roof terrace high up above queen square in Bloomsbury.  The main structure had already been put into place by my contractor, but I realised that I was never going to find the time or space to 1) give proper thought to my garden plan or 2) to put plans into effect. Robin was brilliant at both.  He thoughtfully listened to my ideas and made further suggestions (I love my fig tree, which I wouldn't have thought of in a hundred years) and then efficiently put into place all the planting on the designated day... Working through a rainstorm to get everything finished. Everything was carefully budgeted and all costs agreed in advance. The roof garden is now about to enter its first spring and I can't wait to see the results.

Robin transformed my new and bare terrace, a tricky proposition as it lacks direct sunlight, with a finely chosen selection of creeper, ivy, evergreen jasmine, herbs, grasses and some striking annuals, all housed in carefully selected ceramic and tailor-made metal containers. The plants have thrived in this space, transforming the view from the living room. Robin was very happy to return for some fine-tuning, however minor, and I would recommend him without hesitation.
